About the Role
Production House is looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Producing/Coordinating Intern who can think both big picture and granular. You’ll play a hands-on role in bringing projects to life—from prepping commercial shoots and social series to supporting our original documentary and narrative content.
You’ll gain real-world experience across pre-production, production, and post, working with clients and on topics in sports, fashion + beauty, education, lifestyle, and corporate sectors.
What You’ll Do
Assist with pre-production planning, including booking crew, talent, and studio resources
Build and track production schedules, call sheets, and workflow documents
Secure gear rentals and plan travel logistics for local and out-of-state shoots
Support on set with time management, talent coordination, craft services, and general production needs
Help track expenses and documentation for Illinois Film Tax Credit eligibility
Conduct research to support pitches, proposals, and story development
Assist with project organization and file management

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
Reliability, focus, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Interest in production logistics and the behind-the-scenes mechanics of filmmaking
Clear communicator who thrives in fast-moving environments

Production House is seeking a curious, open-minded Creative/Development Intern who loves storytelling in all its forms—whether it’s documentary, narrative, commercial, or social content. You’ll contribute to projects spanning sports, fashion + beauty, education, lifestyle, and corporate topics, helping shape ideas and stories that resonate across platforms.
What You’ll Do
Support the development of briefs, one-pagers, treatments, and script drafts
Contribute to ideation around new projects and original content
Conduct research to better understand story worlds, characters, and social trends
Assist with concept development for commercials, social series, and branded content
Help shape content strategy and audience-building plans for social platforms
Support pitch decks and proposals with writing, structure, and creative input
What We’re Looking For
A love for storytelling across genres and formats
Curiosity about people, cultures, and real-world stories
A grounded sense of humor and the ability to find insight in everyday moments
Strong writing skills and an ability to communicate ideas clearly
Interest in how stories move on social platforms and build audiences

About the Role
Production House is looking for an Editing/Post-Production Intern with a strong interest in documentary-style storytelling, while also being comfortable working on narrative content. You should enjoy digging through footage, discovering moments, and helping shape simple story assemblies that set the foundation for final edits across a wide range of projects.
You’ll work across topics in sports, fashion + beauty, education, lifestyle, and corporate sectors, supporting both short-form and long-form projects.
What You’ll Do
Organize footage, sync media, and maintain project folders for both documentary and narrative projects
Pull selects and assemble rough scenes or story beats to support early edits
Assist editors with stringouts, story edits, and preparing timelines for documentary, narrative, commercial, and social content
Help manage project media, proxies, and exports
Support both short-form social content and longer-form documentary/narrative work
Collaborate with the creative and producing teams to ensure edits align with story and project goals
What We’re Looking For
Strong interest in documentary storytelling and a willingness to work within narrative structures
Organizational skills with attention to detail in media management
Ability to identify emotional beats, character moments, and narrative structure within raw footage
Familiarity with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software
Curiosity and willingness to become invested in a wide range of topics and client industries
Comfortable working hybrid: in-office at Fort Knox Studios, remote, and occasional on-set support
