A DayMaker understands that their work goes beyond a service. It is about presence, listening, and care. The DayMaker ethos recognizes that small moments of connection can have outsized emotional impact, especially for people navigating difficult chapters in their lives.

Daved Dolce serves as the emotional anchor of DayMakers. His journey reflects resilience, self-awareness, and the power of finding purpose through service. Having navigated significant personal challenges, Daved now focuses on mentorship, accountability, and helping others find direction through their work. Across each episode, he connects his experiences to the stories of the alumni and the clients they serve.

SERIES STRUCTURE

DayMakers is a limited five-episode series, with each episode running 5–7 minutes.

Each episode is supported by short-form storytelling designed for discovery and engagement.

  • Daved’s journey and the moment he realized that service, care, and human connection could become a meaningful path forward.

  • Each episode centers on one Tricoci alum Daved helped guide, exploring how they apply the DayMaker ethos in their professional lives and relationships with clients.

The alumni stories

The four alumni featured represent a mix of backgrounds, services, and life stages. Their stories focus on growth, purpose, and responsibility rather than hardship alone. Each episode explores how mentorship, education, and community shaped their approach to their craft and their role in supporting others.

DayMakers acknowledges the emotional weight stylists carry when they absorb their clients’ struggles while managing their own challenges. The series explores burnout, boundaries, resilience, and the quiet toll of caring for others, treating these moments with honesty and respect.

THE CLIENT PERSPECTIVE

Clients featured in the series openly discuss their mental health experiences on camera. These stories focus on moments where a service became something more than cosmetic: a safe conversation, a sense of normalcy, or a reminder of self-worth. The series shows how these interactions often become anchors during difficult periods.

ROLE OF TRICOCI UNIVERSITY

Tricoci University is positioned as a subtle but important backbone of the series. It is where Daved found direction and where the alumni developed the skills, confidence, and values that shaped their careers. The focus remains on people first, with education serving as the foundation that made these journeys possible.

Each episode is supported by a podcast hosted by Daved. Alumni and mental health professionals join him for deeper conversations around purpose, resilience, and emotional care. The podcast extends the impact of the series while maintaining the same thoughtful tone.

INTENDED AUDIENCE

DayMakers is created first for beauty professionals and enthusiasts who understand the realities of the industry. From there, it extends to the general public, inviting a broader audience to see the emotional depth behind everyday services.
